Wayne Morton is the lead Clinician and Director of the Pavilion Physiotherapy Clinic.
He qualified as a Physiotherapist in Leeds in 1982 .He worked at St James University Hospital Leeds, whereby he concentrated his skills in the area of Musculo-Skeletal Medicine. During this time he became First Team Physiotherapist for Carlisle and Leeds Rugby League clubs.
His passion for Sport and the development of medicine within it, led him to the Yorkshire County Cricket Club where in 1986 he became Head Physiotherapist. He became a well-established figure in the Cricket world and was given England A tours from 1991-95. He was soon acknowledged as one of the sports Leading Clinicians and in 1995 was appointed Chief Physiotherapist to The England Cricket team, touring Worldwide and Overseeing 50 test matches and two World Cups. In 2000 he took on the role of Medical Director of Castleford Rugby League club, which he oversaw up until 2011.
Wayne is a Chartered and State registered Physiotherapist and a member of the Health Professionals council. He holds postgraduate Qualifications in Manipulative Medicine, Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Medicine, Injection Therapy and Pilates (Body Control).
He is currently studying Musculo-Skeletal Diagnostic Ultrasonic imagery.
